How to use the medical sharps box?

1. Install the sharps box: press the box body and the lid together to form a whole.

2. Turn the red rotating disc on the top cover left and right to open the sharps box

3. To collect the syringe needle: put the needle into the water-drop shaped hole, stick the syringe needle, press the syringe gently, and the syringe needle goes into the sharp box.

4. Collect infusion set sharps: stretch the sharps part of infusion set into the top of the sharps box, and then cut off with scissors.  

5. For blood-contaminated objects such as syringes and infusion sets used for blood transfusion, sharp instruments such as blades or glass can be thrown directly into the large opening on the top.

6. When the stock in the sharps box reaches 70%, close and lock the sharps box.

Sharps boxes are disposable. it must be recycled by medical waste disposal centres within 24 hours and completely and safely incinerated within 48 hours.  

Material of sharps container: It is made of the new polypropylene plastic (PP) without PVC, which is convenient, puncture-resistant, non-toxic, non-leakage, safe, easy to burn at high temperature, and cannot be opened without damage after being closed.
