At present, the suction head on the market is basically polypropylene plastic (colorless transparent plastic, high chemical inertia, wide temperature range). However, the same polypropylene can vary greatly in quality: high-quality tips are generally made from natural polypropylene, while cheaper tips are likely made from recycled polypropylene plastic (in this case, the best we can say is that it's mostly polypropylene). In addition, most tips add a small amount of additives to the manufacturing process.

Common ones are:

1. Developing materials Commonly known in the market as blue spear head (1000ul) and yellow spear head (200ul), is to add the corresponding color material in polypropylene (we hope to be high-quality color masterbatch, not cheap industrial pigments);

2. Release agent. After the mold is formed, the mold is quickly separated from the mold. Of course, the more additives there are, the greater the likelihood of adverse chemical reactions occurring during pipetting. So it's best not to add additives! However, due to the high production process requirements, the suction cup head without additives is relatively rare on the market.
